“We need some toilet-installer disguises!”

There was silence on the phone.

“That’s pretty random,” said Spots, scratching her spots. “But you can count on us! We’ll get our rollerblades on and bring them over faster than a greyhound in a sports car!”

After Barkley hung up, the two Underdogs hid in the bushes, waiting for the disguises and watching all the activity at the arena. There was a lot to see; some fans were beginning to turn up, forming long lines at the gate, while limos kept dropping off rock stars. It sure was going to be hard to find out who took the golden guitar.

“Almost anyone here could have stolen Mick’s guitar,” said Barkley. “Those five mice look very suspicious.”

“They’re the Mice Girls,” said Fang.

“What about the beaver? I don’t trust him,” said Barkley.

“No Way! That’s Justin Beaver.”
